Our concert went very well. It was a lot of fun.

I started out nervous and shaky and the first half seemed long. But then I started having fun and the second half just flew by. To the point that we got to the last song and I didn't believe it. I had to go back and look in my folder to see all the songs we'd sung because it felt like we just started. But no, we'd sung a lot.

I was losing my voice a bit (I hope I'm not coming down with anything... I don't feel sick) and didn't have my high notes. But that's the great thing about a chorus. Not everyone needs to have every note.

I think Ad Astra was my favorite song. I Hear the Stars was very fun to sing too, if sad. And I love/hate the history behind Follow the Drinking Gourd.
